Ameripaca's Hot Line

Hot Line is a great addition to our small farm and limited breeding program. Hot Line has the confirmation and fiber to match the high standards of our breeding program.

Sired by the famous Ameripaca's Plutonium and out of Ameripaca's Hot Topic, this young alpaca has a pedigree that's hard to beat. Plutonium won Championships at 2009 MAPACA Jubilee and 1st place at 2009 AOBA, 2010 Maryland Classic, 2010 MAPACA Jubilee and 2012 Suri Networks All Suri Show as well as Champion Brown Male at the 2012 All Suri Network's All Suri Show. He's also won 1st place and Champion Dark at 2009 Suri Network Fleece Show as well as 1st place at five other major fleece shows.

Hotline's dam also plays an important part of the pedigree. In this case, Hot Topic is sired by Candlewood Accoyo Davinci, a full Accoyo who won champion and 1st place at Great Western, TxOlan and Mid-America shows; 1st place Fiuturity, Southwest and Ohio Buckeye shows.

Hot Line's fiber tested at 20.1 microns with a standard deviation of 5.4 microns as a two year old. His April 2019 fiber tested at 19.4 microns with a standard deviation of 4.6 microns. He won 1st place in Spinoff at 2019 Caroline Alpaca Celebration. The judge commented that the fleece is "soft, fine, clean, lots of luster" "with a well nourished hand." Hotline's fleece continues to remain extremely fine as he ages--in 2022 his fleece tested as 20.1 microns.

I am reducing my herd due to semi-retirement. Hot Line will make a wonderful fiber addition to someone who wants to produce gorgeous handspun yarn. I have samples to show you.
